I almost got to see the Olympics.
Instead I am on assignment in Seoul. Not a bad deal really. Seoul is as nice and as modern as any city I have ever visited. You know, for a population of over 20 million people it does not feel crowded at all. One note about the pollution. They call it "Yellow Sand" and it is a fact of life in this part of the world. Sand and dust from the Ghobi Desert gets pulled into the upper atmosphere and falls almost like a heavy fog onto the coastal areas. Yes the pollution makes it worse but it sucks either way.
Just about everyone who lives in the Asian-Pacific wears a face mask/respirator on "Yellow Sand" days so quit making a big deal out of it on CNN.
Now time to find that big Casino I see advertised all over the place.............................
