Practice Notes

Per the OCYFL, please review the following info related to equipment care.
Remember practice on Monday is at 6 p.m. and the boys should be in helmets and shoulderpads.

Equipment Notes
1. All football equipment issued to the player is to be returned to the OCYFL.
2. Jerseys are not for sale.
3. Do not use solvents, gasoline, or alcohol to remove decals from helmets. Most will peel off easily. Do not remove size label, recertification sticker or Riddell label.
4. Do not cut away or remove any padding from the helmet for comfort or better fit.
5. Do not cut shoulder pads or submerge in water. Plastic parts and pieces can be wiped off with a wet rag or towel. Allow to dry in open air after use.
6. Do not cut jerseys. Wash in mild soap - NO BLEACH OR FABRIC SOFTENER. Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
7. Wash pants and girdles according to label directions. Remove pads from girdle before washing. Do not cut pants to fit. Do not cut pads to fit.
