WSOP Bracelet Winner Russ Hamilton has been officially fingered by the KGC licensing body as the ring leader of the Ultimate Bet cheating scandal. It was not a big surprise but the identification of him and the serious penalties imposed on the site was. Online poker survives because of trust between the players and the sites. This incident could very well have destroyed forever that trust for all but the two largest sites. Kudos to the KGC, 2+2 and the hundreds of players who pushed for an investigation.
On another note, the Kentucky Governor's attempt to seize online site domain names continues on Oct 7th in Franklin Circuit Court. The Ky PPA had really stepped up to defend our right to play by hiring the best law firm in the state to represent us as a "Friend of the Court". Thanks PPA.
